Wilton Armetale
Care & Use Beautiful and Easy To Care For Don't be misled by the beauty; Wilton Armetale serveware is made to be used. Its beauty is long-lasting, without the handle-with-care cautions and constant polishing demanded by silver products. Simply wash your Armetale serveware with mild soap, then rinse with hot water and towel-dry. Automatic dishwashers are not recommended because the chemicals in water may harm the metal's fine finish. However, slight scratches caused by the cutting action of knives and forks are normal. They lend character and an air of authenticity to your serveware. As with any metal, it is not recommended that food be stored in your pieces for a sustained period of time, especially foods containing fatty acids, salad dressing or vinegar. If staining or discoloration does occur prepare a combination of baking soda and water to form a paste. Rub the paste on the piece and towel dry. Apply Armetale polish to lift the remaining stain and restore the shine. Durable - won't crack, chip or dent Oven and freezer safe - cook and heat foods in it Freezer and refrigerator safe - freeze or chill foods in it Non-toxic - safe for cooking and serving foods Easy care - easy to clean, requires no polishing Do not use in microwave or dishwasher

Arthur Court
Care of Your Aluminum Serveware Each piece is individually crafted and polished by hand. Flawless perfection can only be achieved on an assembly line, and is not our intention. Variations in the product reinforce the fact that every piece is made by hand, and therefore is unique. Wash your Arthur Court Designs aluminum serveware by hand with mild dishwashing soap and dry immediately. DO NOT WASH IN DISHWASHER. The brilliant polished luster of your aluminum will be permanently dulled by the high heat of a dishwasher or oven. To prevent stains, remove all food and liquid - especially fatty acids, vinegar or salad dressings - from platter and vessels after use or insert a glass liner for food service. It is recommended that just prior to serving, your piece be wiped or sprayed with vegetable oil. By doing so, the oil will act as a barrier against highly acidic or salty foods, which may otherwise dull or discolor the finish. Unlike silver, our aluminum products do not require regular polishing. As needed, pieces can be brightened with Cape Cod rubbing cloths, or other fine silver polishing compounds.
